There is only one powerful word on this Planet that God made; can you guess what it is? L.O.V.E yes love. It has only one syllable and four letters. Can you believe that such a small word, has the most impeccable effect on people, especially when you tell someone who you care about the most. Throughout the world, there are millions and millions of different tropical flowers, but there is only one flower people associate with love, the one flower people buy on Valentine’s Day. A red rose. It is quite a good comparison, love can be prickly at times, and people have to watch where they pick up roses because of their thorns on the stem which compares to the bad times in a relationship. Yet the luscious red petals shaped the way they are show the beautiful times in a relationship, you know, the first kiss, seeing her blush from your touch. The petals are as soft as silk to touch, so they remind you of your loved ones skin, how soft her cheek is. The leaves of the rose are just the foundations of the relationship, the steps the two people have made to get to where they are, to the love they share. That radiant red makes your eye find the rose, even if it was amongst a sea of other flowers, the radiance is too extraordinary for the human eye to miss – like when you see your other half for the first time whether in a crowd of people or in a quiet café. Roses signify love because they show it so well. Just remember, if you ever hear those 8 letters, 3 syllables oh and 3 words once in your life, then God has given you the gift to love, and that has to be more powerful than King Arthur revealing Excalibur from the stone where it was stuck, or from the fear King Henry the Eighth had over people that didn’t want their heads to be de-capitated from their bodies. I love you.

Elegantly the tall purple tulip stands, at first, the petals are formed in a teardrop shape as if to say someone has been crying when they thought to pick these tulips up, but of course that person could not have been crying of sadness. Tulips could never bring sadness but only joy and happiness, the tulip forms a tear of joy a symbol that any human would form from either gazing upon the tulip or picking one up, especially the perfect purple tulips. A purple teardrop of joy, how special is that? Any teardrop that is a different colour other than the dull transparency of the human teardrop has to be unique, just like this purple tulip. The sun admires the tulips; why else would she let them endure her precious sunlight? But this precious beam of warmth, colour allows the tulip to open up to everyone that sees it. One by one each petal moves further out, once they have all given into the suns magical beam, it is almost as if the petals’ outline makes a star shape, it would be quite fitting to their role. A shimmering star planted into the moist, soft soil, amongst the thin gracious green grass; there they stand the utterly speechless tulips, a miracle created by God. A miracle in the Garden of Eden.

University fee’s

Perfect, I know this is quite late, Nick Clegg raised the fee’s a few months ago but I still feel that its a bad idea. Just raising the fee’s will put people off going to Uni, and Clegg said that if he came to power that he wouldn’t raise them! Can you believe that? I wont be going to Uni for another 2 years but it puts pressure on people my age to make sure it is really what they want, I also have no idea on what I want to do but I know that I want to go to University. However, I am going to have to start saving now like other people my age. I want to do a gap year as well, but I am thinking of doing that once I have finished Sixth Form, when I’m eighteen. Thats another thing I am saving for. I dont know what people from a bad background are going to do if they want to go to Uni because it will be very difficult for them if they dont have enough to pay for it! I wonder whether Clegg thought about that when he gave the go-ahead to raise them. I know that the Government is try to do their best, trying to defeat the Recession but raising the fee’s will make young people not want to get a better education because it is too expensive.

“Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars”

Not written anything for months

Earth is just like a little crumb on a dining room table-cloth, the cloth is spread out across the long square pine table just like the galaxy. We see parts of this galaxy every night when we look up into the dark blue sky, we see the mesmerising moon, and if your lucky enough to live in the countryside then you have the pleasure to see quite a lot of sparkling dots spread across that dark blue sky that we know as stars.
Just the word star is special. I don’t know much about them sadly but I would love to learn. I would love to see the mysteries that the galaxy above our world holds. Astronauts I think are some of the luckiest people alive, they have the chance to go up into space and see what others can only imagine. I bet it’s terrifying though, they must be courageous. I have to admit, astronauts do look very intimidating in their suits, you wouldn’t like to pick a fight with one of them!
I admire the people who take their time to figure out all the star constellations and what the main stars are called. If you are a person who has done this sometime in your life, then you should be proud that you have taught yourself something very magical indeed, I envy you but most importantly I ADMIRE YOU! I am going to start trying to learn the constellations but it is hard when you live near a city. You barely get to see stars out at night, it’s like they have a time limit and need to be back home to their parents before 10.
I have had the privilege to see a shooting star this summer, it was beautiful. I don’t know the right words to describe it.
Stars, Planets, Sun & Moon. I think sometimes we forget that there are other things out there other than us. Its a shame the naked eye cannot see the planets, but I guess it’s a good thing as well, it will keep everything a spectacular surprise for when we do find out what stars, planets, sun & moon are like up close
